To further strengthen our role as key market player in Europe, we are now looking to recruit a Technical Product Manager for our Point of Sales Solutions. The Technical Product Manager operates in conjunction with the Product Owner taking responsibility for managing Elavon’s security offering on Point of Sale Terminals with primary focus on End to End Encryption, Point to Point Encryption (P2PE) and Tokenisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving the roadmap and delivery of the security solutions on Elavon’s POS terminals
  • Managing the end to end process for PCI P2PE certifications
  • Managing the day to day relationship with Elavon’s selected Qualified Security Assessor for new and existing P2PE Solutions
  • Managing the annual health checks and revalidation of P2PE solutions
  • Managing the introduction and growth of Elavon’s Tokenisation product with 3rd party solution providers who integrate to Elavon’s POS solutions
  • Driving and executing go to market activities
  • Preparing and providing training to stakeholders on new and existing security products
  • Working with teams across the organisation, including managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, and improve customer experience
  • Eliciting software requirements, developing high level Product Requirements Document (PRD) and elaborate Software Requirements Specification (SRS) for the POS vendors for subsequent design, development, and testing activities.
  • Project managing delivery of new products and enhancement of existing products within the POS Value Chain, focusing on enhancing the POS Income Statement.
  • Assisting with translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Ongoing maintenance of product documentation
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Providing management reporting on new and existing customers
  • Handle confidential and highly sensitive company information
  • Ensure quality is embedded throughout the process and that the standard delivery methodology is followed

    Knowledge / Skills / Experience required:

  • Understanding of PCI Standards
  • Knowledge of cryptographic and key management techniques
  • Product Management, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Requirements Analysis, Planning, Competitive Analysis, Inventory Control,
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral in English. Polish, Italian, German or French language skills advantageous
  • Understanding TCP/IP Network basics (LAN, IP Addressing)
  • Can communicate at all levels internally and externally
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage many ongoing projects
  • Ability to communicate systems solutions or issues using appropriate language, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver who provides follow through and ability to know when to escalate a problem
  • Ability to set and work to fixed deadlines.
