Job Description

The Role

As part of an busy city center restaurant within a hotels established service team, your main duties would include:

Supervising service team members. Serving guests throughout various service periods, from our breakfast menu, Italian menu/s, extensive wine and drinks list. Keeping all customers happy with the highest level of service, product knowledge and all while maintaining a smile!

Skills, interests and qualities

As a restaurant team leader / member you will need to have:

Excellent written and spoken communication skills strong customer service skills a friendly and professional spoken / telephone manner the ability to adapt to different guests requests and tact the ability to stay calm under pressure and look after several things at once. Good problem solving skills the ability to use computerized technology a methodical approach to your work accuracy and attention to detail.

An avid interest in Italian food and wine will be a clear advantage to any applicant.

The Applicant

Should posses a minimum of three years in a similar role (proof previous / recent hotel / restaurant experience is required). Have excellent command of English and a second European language would be an advantage.
A good knowledge of Italian food & wine would be advantageous
