Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Financial Reporting Manager with the preparation of detailed management accounts and reporting packs for the Allianz Group / Executive Committees` and Board of Directors
  • Enhance processes, documentation and procedures to ensure a strong control environment.
  • Preparation, analysis and delivery of input for financial forecasts and annual plans to Group.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of monthly premium and expense forecasts
  • Provide clear and concise results from data analysis to provide key insights on business performance.
  • Assist in the monitoring of expenses, including variance analysis against plan.
  • Contribute to the team`s role in driving and improving the quality of financial analysis provided to senior management.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations to senior management, Board of Directors and Group.
  • Prepare ad-hoc tasks / reports for management as and when required.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.

 

Experience Required

  • Hold a professional Accountancy qualification
  • At least 2 years PQE, experience in a Financial Services company or in Financial Services audit is desirable but not a pre-requisite
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel a working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite
  • Fluency in English & French
