Job Description

 

The Senior Business Development Consultant will be responsible for increasing sales opportunities by developing both new and existing client relationships both in the UK & the wider EU region.

 

New Clients

  • You will identify new potential clients through a combination of:
  • Your own personal networking, market research, lead gathering and other business development activities

 

And…

  • Leveraging early stage relationships being developed by recruiters across the Audit International Business.
  • You will help promote Audit International as a supplier of choice with the objective of securing future repeat business.
  • You will build up a detailed organogram of each company to include key Line and HR/Internal Recruitment Managers.
  • You will build relationships with key contacts at each company both in person and by phone.
  • You will assist the preparation of tenders/RFIs/RFPs etc. as required.
  • You will act as the key point of contact between Audit International and the client

 

Existing Clients

You will be assigned a number existing Audit International client accounts. It is envisaged that this will be a combination of existing successful accounts with further opportunities for cross-selling, and turnaround accounts (companies where business has been done in the past but that are currently relatively inactive).

  • You will help promote Audit International as a supplier of choice with the objective of protecting the existing flow of business and/or increasing the flow of potential future business.
  • You will build up a detailed organogram of each company to include key Line Managers and HR/Internal Recruitment Managers.
  • You will build relationships with key contacts at each company, both in person and largely by phone.
  • You will act as a key point of contact between Audit International and the client.
  • In partnership with the Audit International management team, you will ensure that we are delivering on each account and will help develop strategies to improve performance where necessary.

 

Other

  • Working as part of the wider sales team, you will work in accordance with company procedures such as following sales process, updating database systems and sharing information for the best interest of the company.
  • You will contribute to the positive, team-orientated company environment.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years previous consultative sales or ideally recruitment experience, ideally with exposure to both contract and permanent recruitment
  • You will have extremely strong client-facing communication skills.
  • You will have a demonstrable record of success in business development.
  • You will be an exceptional relationship builder.
  • You will be highly organized and will be comfortable working independently as well as part of team.
  • You will be able to demonstrate using practical and personal examples the competencies identified below.

  • Bachelor’s
