The eBay merchant support teammate will be responsible for supporting outbound campaigns to a combination of our most valuable customers and  taking calls from four 4 LOB – BUY, SELL, M2M, e2M with a view to encouraging the use of eBay services and features most suited to the customers’ business which will support growth and engagement.

 

The merchant support teammate is seen as a product expert, a point of contact for customers wishing to use eBay as a channel or access point to the eBay marketplace.

 

A drive for results is extremely important to the success of the merchant support teammate outreach team along with a high competency to be able to work within an extremely busy and consistently changing environment.

 

Tasks

  • Taking calls from CS from customers from four 4 LOB – BUY, SELL, M2M, e2M/ we are opening an extra support IH for volume originally handled at partners
  • Handling day-to-day operational issues from our most valuable sellers
  • Outbound campaigns to our most valuable sellers with a view to encouraging the use of eBay services and features most suited to the customer’s business which will support growth and engagement
  • Retention of declining sellers

Prerequisite Knowledge & Proficiencies

  • Fluency in Italian & English languages
  • Must be proven performer in achieving metrics
  • Excellent organisational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, target driven independent worker
  • Strong working knowledge of external systems, PC based internet and software applications (The Internet, Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Sales experience / skills a plus
  • Be able to identify and escalate issues on the site, raising the relevant ticket and escalating information up to the relevant stakeholders
